The Town of Deerfield has now received the third draft of the proposed Town of Deerfield Comprehensive Land Use Plan. The township is also considering a Transfer of Development Rights (Building Rights) policy that will be separate from the overall land use policy. For review of the proposed policy updates please go to the Notices and Postings section of the town’s website to review said policies. The town board and town planning commission will be holding a joint meeting in mid February to discuss these policies. Final adoption will probably take place in late March or April.

Notice is given that the Town of Deerfield will conduct a spring election on April 7, 2020 at which time two supervisor positions will be elected for a two year term. Current Supervisors are Mr. Nick Brattlie and Mr. Randy Behlke. Candidacy papers and nomination papers are available from the clerk’s office with the first day to circulate said papers being December 1, 2019 and said papers due back completed to the clerk by 5:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 7, 2020.
